Pike’s Mission Statement
At Pike Baptist Church, we believe every person is on a journey—sometimes steady, sometimes winding, but never meant to be walked alone. Our mission is simple but deeply rooted: Helping one another embrace faith, family, and purpose in Christ. This calling shapes who we aspire to be.
Helping one another embrace faith, family, and purpose in Christ.
Helping One Another
We are all on a journey. Some of us are new to faith, some are growing in Christ, and others are still searching for truth. At Pike, we don’t have all the answers, but we walk together—helping one another take the next step toward Jesus. We experience struggles, doubts, and questions just like everyone else, but we believe God has called us to encourage, challenge, and strengthen one another as we follow Him.
Biblical Support: Psalm 25:4-5, Isaiah 30:21, Micah 6:8, Matthew 28:19-20, John 10:3-4, 1 Thessalonians 2:8
Embrace Faith
Faith is not something we hold at a distance or keep compartmentalized—it is meant to shape every part of who we are. Embracing faith means leaning into trust, stepping forward in obedience, and allowing God’s truth to transform our lives. Whether someone is just beginning to explore who Jesus is or has been following Him for years, we are all learning to depend on God more fully, wrestle honestly with our doubts, and live out our faith in everyday life. Together, we engage Scripture, ask hard questions, and encourage one another to walk confidently in what we believe.
Biblical Support: Deuteronomy 6:5-7, Habakkuk 2:4, Isaiah 55:6-7, Romans 10:17, Ephesians 2:8-9, Hebrews 11:1
Embrace Family
We are not just a congregation—we are a spiritual family, called to actively invest in one another’s lives. Embracing family means showing up for each other, sharing in joys and burdens, and choosing connection over isolation. At Pike, we celebrate together, support one another through struggles, and walk through life side by side. In a world where many feel disconnected, we build deep, meaningful relationships, strengthen families, and create a place where everyone has a role to play.
Biblical Support: Exodus 19:5-6, Psalm 133:1, Ecclesiastes 4:9-12, Romans 12:4-5, Galatians 6:2, Ephesians 2:19-22
Embrace Purpose in Christ
God created each of us with intention, and embracing our purpose means actively stepping into the calling He has placed on our lives. As we follow Jesus, we help one another recognize the gifts He has given us and find meaningful ways to use them. Whether it’s teaching, mentoring, leading, or serving in quiet faithfulness, we encourage each other to live with intentionality, honoring God with our work, relationships, and influence. Together, we take what God has entrusted to us and use it to bring hope, healing, and truth to the world around us.
Biblical Support: Jeremiah 29:11, Proverbs 19:21, Isaiah 6:8, Matthew 5:14-16, Ephesians 2:10, 2 Peter 1:3-11
